Cybersecurity Training

Florida State University recently completed an internal audit of cybersecurity awareness. The results indicated that there were areas for improvement in formal security training procedures, and that a significant number of employees have not received the necessary cybersecurity training to help secure university information.

Florida State’s Information Security Policy, 4-OP-H-5 requires all departments to ensure their employees receive basic information security training. We ask that you complete the security awareness training course established for this purpose. The course will help each employee understand how a series of simple steps can prevent unauthorized access and protect private information.

Registration Instructions:

The course is offered through the Office of Human Resources and is listed as FSU Basic Cybersecurity Training. To register, log in to myFSU and navigate to HR in the myFSU Links box.
